Sept. 10, 1916, to July 17, 1991

Vera Pauline Corder, 74, of Nevada died of heart failure July 17 at Mercy Hospital Medical Center in Des Moines.

She was born Sept.10, 1916, in Mendota, Mo., to John B. and Amy (Dunshee) Williams. She lived in Story County for 49 years. On Dec. 23, 1939, she married F.M. (Butch) Corder at Unionville, Mo.

Survivors include her husband, Butch of Nevada; two sons, Larry of Manassas, Va., and Paul Roger of Nevada; five grandchildren; one great-grandchild; one brother, John Williams of Nevada; and one sister, Dorothy Adams of Madrid.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Visitation was last Friday at Chet Ryan Mortuary, Nevada. Funeral services were Saturday at Chet Ryan Mortuary. Burial was in Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Cincinnati, Iowa.
