Betty Sansgaard

Betty Sansgaard, 56, rural Boone, died Saturday, Nov. 10, 1984 at Mary Greeley Medical Center, Ames.

Funeral services were held Nov. 13 at 1:30 p.m. from St. Andrews Lutheran Church, Ames. The Rev. Charles Solberg was in charge. Burial was at the Story City Municipal Cemetery.

Betty Johnson was born Sept. 28, 1928 in Randall to John M. and Ellen (Dalva) Johnson. She was graduated from Randall High School. On Feb. 14, 1948, she was united in marriage with Lowell Sansgaard at Randall. The couple moved to Ames in 1958.

Survivors include her husband, Lowell; one son, Daniel, Slater; two daughters, Diane Moeller, Ankeny, and Linda Larson, Boone; four grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Lawrence Durby, Stanhope and Mrs. Willard Jackson, Des Moines; two brothers, Oliver Johnson, Ames, and Stanley Johnson, Randall. Betty was the daughter-in-law of Mrs. Joseph (Alma) Sansgaard, Story City.
