RASMUS M. FRETTE

Rasmus Martin Frette passed away March 24 of a heart ailment from which he had been suffering for some time.

He was born May 6, 1877, at Rosendale and passed away at the age of 68 years, 10 mo. and 18 days.

He was baptized and confirmed at the Clear Lake church, but was a member of Elim church in Randall at the time of his death.

He was united in marriage to Inger Holland, Nov. 1903. They made their home in Randall for the past 26 years.

He is survived by his wife, seven children, eleven grandchildren and four sisters. All were present at the funeral.

The children are: Pete of Roland, Ray of Portage, Wis., Amil of Des Moines, Nels of Negaunee, Mich., Mrs. Lyle Vos and Mrs. Alvin Madson of Ames, and Mrs. Kenneth Larson of Randall.

The sisters are: Mrs. Erick Holland, Mrs. Regina Peterson, Mrs. Martin Townswick, and Mrs. Pete Quam of Story City.

Two children preceded him in death, Carrie, 20 months, and Rasmus Jr. 2 months.

Funeral services were held Wednesday, March 27, at Elim Lutheran church in Randall, Rev. A. J. Bringle officiating. Burial was in the Story City cemetery. The pallbearers were Elmer Frette, Otis Frette, Ransom Holland, Leonard Auestad, Gelman Holland, Porter Quam.
