Virgil Allison

Virgil Allison, 58, Story City, died at his home on Friday, Nov. 28 at 1:30 p.m. from Grace United Methodist Church. The Rev. Harley Carbaugh was in charge. Burial was at the Story City Municipal Cemetery.

Virgil was born at Jefferson, Iowa, Dec. 9. 1924. His parents were Joseph and Katherine (Strine) Allison. On May 4, 1945 he was married to Eva Quillen.

Survivors include his wife; two sisters, Hazel Wilkie, Detroit, Mish., and Ruth Burton, Madrid; and five brothers, Orville, Boone, Oliver, Francis, and Earl, Clearwater, Fla., and Robert, Oakland, Calif.
