THE AMES TRIBUNE, Ames, Story County, Iowa, Tuesday, November 8, 2005.

Scott Owen Barnett, 35, of Boone and formerly of Ames, died Saturday, Nov. 6, at Mercy Medical Center of Des Moines. Funeral services will be at 7 p.m., Thursday, Nov. 10, at Palestine Lutheran Church in Huxley with the Rev. Donald Dovre officiating. Visitation will be from 1 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 10, with the family present to greet friends from 4 to 6 p.m. Thursday, Nov.10, at Palestine Lutheran Church in Huxley. Following the service, the body will be cremated and disposition of the remains will be at a later date.

Memorials may be directed to the family and a memorial will be established at a later.

Schroeder-Walter Funeral Home, Fifth and Story streets of Boone, is in charge of arrangements
