OBITUARY

EMBERT V. LARSON

Funeral services were held last Wednesday evening, July 9, at 7 o'clock at White's Funeral chapel in Twin Falls, Idaho, for Embert V. Larson, former Story City man, who had been practicing law in that city since 1907. Death was caused by a heart attack.

Mr. Larson, who was known to many people in this territory, was born July 13, 1879, on the home farm northwest of Story City, a son of Mr. and Mrs. George Larson. He attended the public schools here and then attended Luther college at Decorah, taught a short time in the schools near Story City, later graduated from Iowa State college at Ames, and received his law degree and was admitted to the practice of law at the University of Michigan at Ann Arbor in 1907, going directly to Twin Falls, where he had lived since.

He had been prosecuting attorney and was active in Republican political circles in Idaho. He was also active member of the Presbyterian church and the Elks lodge in Twin Falls.

He is survived by his wife and two sons, Herbert of the United States Navy and Bert Jr. of Boise, Idaho; his mother, Mrs. George Larson of Story City; two sisters, Mrs. C. J. Teig of Story City and Mrs. H. G. Kruwell of Nevada; and five brothers, George of Compton, Calif., Harry of Pingree, N. Dak., Gerald of Chicago, Olaf of Story City, and Frithjof of Fargo, N. D.

Mr. and Mrs. C. J. Teig and attorney O. R. Larson of this place, Mrs. Fritz Clausen of Goldfield and Mr. and Mrs. Frithjof Larson of Fargo, N. Dak., attended the funeral. While there they received word that Gilbert Teig of Borup, Minn., a brother of C. J. Teig immediately returned in the car with Frithjof Larson and managed to get to Borup Sunday morning, the day of the funeral.
