Thou has flown, dear Mother,
From a weary bed of pain;
Thou hast flown to realms of Glory
Never to return again.
And our hearts are filled with sorrow
As we bid a last goodbye,
But we hope again to meet you
In the home beyond the sky.
Farewell then, dear Mother,
Till we in Heaven meet;
There to dwell with Jesus,
And walk the Golden Street.
