MRS. MARTHA LARSON DIED HERE FRIDAY

Mrs. Martha Larson, 89, died last Friday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Thompson, with whom she had lived the last couple years, since she became too feeble to help herself.

Funeral services were held in the Immanuel church Monday afternoon, with Rev. Heimarck officiating. Burial was made in the Washington Norwegian cemetery south of Duncombe.

Martha Severson Larson was born in Norway Mar. 14, 1850. She was married in 1882 to Thomas Larson of Vincent, and to this union two children were born, Severt, who died in 1929, and Mrs. Ray Welch of Duncombe. Two grandchildren also survive, Verne and Lee Welch.

Her husband died 20 years ago. Step-children are: Mrs. Katie Olson of Vincent, L. T. Larson of Polson, Mont., Mrs. Margaret Brown of Estherville, A. O. Larson of Dolliver, Mrs. John Hanson of Estherville.

There are also 32 step grandchildren, four nephews and one niece. Since the death of her husband she had lived here.
