OBITUARY
Mrs. Ernest L. Sanders

The death of Mrs. Ernest L. Sanders was a great shock to the people of East Gilbert. A baby daughter had just arrived to gladden the hearts of these people and all seemed well, when suddenly she was taken ill and soon passed away.

Leila May Dolph [sic] was born near Storm Lake, Iowa, Jan. 28, 1902, died near Ames, Iowa, April 26, 1921. March 6, 1920, she was united in marriage to Ernest L. Sanders. She leaves besides husband and infant daughter, her father and mother, one brother Ora Dearth and a sister Mrs. Kleist of Ames. Funeral services were held at the Pleasant Grove church on Thursday afternoon conducted by Rev. H. L. Wissler of Gilbert and the body laid to rest in the Pleasant Grove cemetery.
