OBITUARY

MRS. AMOND KNUDSEN.

Mrs. Amond Knudsen (nee Mary Yttrevold Jensen) was born in Stavanger, Norway, in 1852, and died in Story City, Iowa, at 4:10 Wednesday morning, Jan. 12, 1910, at the age of 58.

Her parents immigrated to America when she was a year and a half old, settling first in Illinois but later moving to Benton county, Iowa, where she met and married her husband.

After her marriage she lived 11 years in Benton county, 2 years in McCallsburg and the remaining 28 years of her life were spent in Story City.

Besides the husband, she leaves three sons and two daughters to mourn her death. One child has preceded her to the better land. Four brothers and three sisters are among the near relatives of the deceased.

The children are Newt, Ole and Tom, Mrs. Emma Davis and Mrs. Annie?

The sisters are Mrs. Nels Nelson, Mrs. Knut Sevareid, Mrs. Martha Olson, Jim, Odde, John and Ole Jensen.
