FORMER IOWA WOMAN DEAD

Mrs. Erick Egland Died in Oklahoma En Route From California Back To Iowa

Old time friends of Mrs. Erick Egland were pained the other day when a message came from some point in Oklahoma, stating that she had suddenly passed away while on a motor trip that was taking her back to Iowa and old time friends and neighbors. The Eglands, who reside at Perley, Minn., had been spending the winter months in California and were on their way back to Minnesota taking a southern route. This would make it possible to come to Iowa at the same time for a visit with old time friends in the community southwest of Cambridge where they lived for many years. She was formerly Miss Anna Walden, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lars Walden, pioneer residents of that community, now dead many years.

The remains were prepared for burial and sent to her late home at Perley, Minnesota, where funeral took place.
