Funeral services were held Friday, April 11, for Lois Marie Nagle, 13, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. C. T. Nagle of Ankeny who died Tuesday evening after a brief illness from a brain ailment. The rites were held in the Congregational church in Ankeny and burial was made in the Pine Hill cemetery. Besides the parents the survivors are three sisters, Mrs. Fred Rice of Des Moines, Mrs. Helen Fitch and Miss Dorothy Nagle, both of Ankeny, one brother Homer, of Pontiac, Mich., two nieces and four nephews. Mr. and Mrs. Nagle and family were formerly residents of the Maxwell community.
