Last Rites Held For Will Buche

Funeral services for Will Buche were held at 10:30 Wednesday morning at Adams Funeral Home in Ames with Rev. Harriman, associate pastor of First Methodist Church in Ames in charge. Music was furnished by Mrs. Albert Buche who sang "My Jesus, I Love Thee" and "The Old Rugged Cross."

Mr. Buche died Sunday afternoon after a lengthy illness. Death occurred at Riverside Manor in Ames where he had been staying the past month.

He was born Nov. 18, 1883 at Crocker in Polk County. The Buche family moved to Meservy where he grew up. As a young man, he moved with his family to a farm near Slater.

He was married to Verna Robins of Slater on June 5, 1912. They lived in Slater and on a farm west of Slater and in the spring of 1924 moved to Ames to make their home. They had no children and a young boy, Fred Todd, grew to manhood and lived in their home until his marriage.

Survivors include his wife, Verna; Mr. and Mrs. Fred Todd and sons Mickey and Dickie of Marion, Ia., four brothers, Albert, John and Louis of west of Slater and Irwin of Sedalia, Colo., and one sister, Mrs. Mattie Peterson of Mt. Ayr, a number of nieces and nephews and other relatives.
