Mrs. W. Zenor, Native of Ames, Succumbs Mon.
Mrs. Leonore Clarke Zenor, 73, native of Ames, died at her home, 512 Burnett avenue, at 5:15 p. m. Monday. She had been an invalid for the past 10 years.
Funeral services will be held Thursday at 1 p. m. from the Duckworth funeral home. The Rev. Jack Finegan, pastor of the Church of Christ, will officiate. Burial will be in the Ames cemetery.
Mrs. Zenor was born in Ames October 22, 1861, her death occurring on her 73rd birthday. She had resided here all her life, and until incapacitated by physical disability she had been very active in church and social life.
She was married to Albert Clarke, who died about 25 years ago. There are two children surviving by that marriage, a son Willis who resides with his wife at his mother's home, and a daughter, Mrs. W. V. Ellis of Sioux City.
Her second marriage took place about 1921 to W. J. Zenor, who died two years later. There are three step-children surviving, Mrs. Greta Holmes of Ames, Claude Zenor of Mankato, Minn., and Leland Zenor of San Benito, Tex.
Mrs. Zenor also leaves two brothers, Alonzo Heistand of Ames, and Sam Heistand of Princeton, Wis.
