From The Slater news May 1, 1918 (page 3)

Lars Kloster, aged citizen of northeast of Huxley, passed away on Tuesday morning last week [April 23, 1918] after an illness which dated back several months. Funeral services being in charge of his pastor, Rev. Bueland, and burial was made in the adjoining cemetery [Palestine Cemetery.] Deceased had been a resident of that vicinity for many years and was well thought of in the community. He leaves a wife several grown-up children as well as a large circle of friends. Deceased was born and spent the early years of his life in the land of his birth [Norway.}
