Obituary of Mrs. Ruby Spring

Ruby Sylvia Houge was born in Slater, Iowa, January 17, 1902, and passed away at her home in Des Moines, Iowa, on July 7, 1931, at the age of 29 years, 5 months and 20 days.

She lived in Slater as a girl and attended the Slater schools. At the age of 14 she was confirmed in the Lincoln church of Slater.

On October 6, 1922, she was united in marriage to Mr. Kenneth Spring of Des Moines, Iowa. To this union was born two children, Shirley Helen Spring, aged 6, and Jerry Lou Spring, aged 5 weeks.

She leaves to mourn her passing her husband and two daughters and her mother, Mrs. Celia Houge, of Slater. Three sisters, Mrs. D. P. Clements of Clinton, Iowa, Mrs. W. H. Van Gundy of Slater, Iowa, and Mrs. R. W. Zenor of Des Moines; two brothers, Mr. W. o. Houge of Charles City, Iowa and Mr. M. J. Houge of Des Moines, Iowa. Besides these a host of relatives and friends will miss her sadly and are grieved at her passing from us in the prime of life.
