OBITUARY.

The funeral of Levi Anfinson took place on Tuesday, Jan. 3 at 12 M. at the home of Mr. Nels Sydnes, 5 miles north east of Slater. Rev. B. C. Tillitt preached the sermon from 2 Tim. 1:10 to a large number of relatives and friends who had gathered to pay their respects and sympathize with the bereaved brother and sisters. Interment took place in the cemetery one mile north of the home.

Levi Anfinson was born in Palestine township, Story county, Ia., Oct. 5, 1868, died Dec. 31, 1898, being 30 years, 2 months and 26 days of age. He is well known in and around Slater where he has spent most of these years. He, like many others, did not seem to heed the gospel call or feel his need of a Saviour until a few weeks before his death when he yielded himself to Christ and from that time forth he rejoiced in a full and free Salvation.
