From The Slater News July 29, 1892 (page 5)

Mrs. Sarah Larson, died at the home of her parents, one mile east of Huxley, Sunday evening July 24, 1892, 28 years old. After a long illness of consumption. Eight years ago she was united in marriage to Lewis Larson. A happy union but the sickle of death which is no respecter of persons, and is ever reaping, cut her down in the spring time of life. On Tuesday, July 26th, the funeral services was conducted by Rev. Holm (of whose congregation she was a faithful member) and her remains lowered beneath the "low green mound whose curtains never outward swing." Sarah was the oldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ole Fatland. She was kind, affectionate and a Christian woman, and loved by all who knew her. The sympathy of the entire community is with the bereaved husband, children, parents, brothers and sisters, in their dark hour of affliction. They can only be comforted with the consolation that their loved one has gone home to rest, that her spirit has only taken its flight to be with the one that doeth all things well.
