DEATH OF MRS. NELS J. BAUGE

Highly respected woman passes away at an advanced age. Buried last Monday.

From Ames comes word of the death of Mrs. J. N. Bouge, a woman who used to make her home north of Huxley not a few years ago. Death occurred at seven o'clock Saturday morning. Funeral took place from her late hoe at Ames Monday forenoon. The remains were taken to the Palestine cemetery for interment in the family lot and beside those of her husband who passed away many years ago.

Deceased had been sick for five years, being the victim of asthma. Much of the time she had been confined to the bed and cared for by her daughter, Miss Mary Bauge. A change in her condition was apparent the first of last week when she became much weaker and continued to fail till death claimed her on Saturday morning.

Mrs. Bauge reached the advanced age of ninety-one years, the greater part which she has spent in Iowa. Though sick for many years she was the most patient of women. She left seven children, six of whom were present at her death. The children are: Miss Mary, Ole and Milt of Ames; Lars and Thor of Huxley; Joe of Dows and John of Illinois.
