NEVADA JOURNAL, Nevada, Story County, Iowa, Thursday, September 22, 2005.

Connie Jo Robinson, 60, of rural Nevada died on Sunday, September 18 at Mary Greeley Medical Center in Ames. Funeral mass will be held 10:30 A.M. on Thursday, September 22 at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Nevada with Father John Herzog officiating. Private family burial will be held in the St. Patrick's Catholic Cemetery.

Connie was born April 24, 1945 in Council Bluffs to Michael and Gerry (Cosgrove) Byers. She was a Nevada High School graduate. Connie married Larry W. Robinson on April 15, 1967 in Nevada. She was a wonderful mother and homemaker. Connie was a member of the St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Nevada. She was a lifelong resident of Story County. Connie loved being with her children and grandchildren and enjoyed restoring and buying antiques and gardening.

Connie is survived by her husband Larry Robinson of rural Nevada; 2 sons, Jeff (Alena) Robinson of Nevada and their children Dustin, Eric, and Felicity and Joe (Britney) Robinson of Iowa Falls and their son Caleb; 2 daughters, Tracy (Scott) Zimmerman of Avoca and their son Joshua Zimmerman and Monica Robinson of Nevada; an aunt, Vivian Semrow of Texas; brothers and sisters, Mick and Kay Byers of St. Joseph, Missouri, Pat and Trish Byers of McCallsburg, Kate and the late Bill Nosbush of Mora, Minnesota, Charlie and Linda Byers of Huxley, Theresa Knott, Ceil and Dave Grossman, and Steve and Leslie Byers, all of Omaha, Nebraska; many nieces and nephews and other relatives.

Connie was preceded in death by her parents, Michael and Gerry; in-laws, Earl and Inez Robinson; and brother in law, Bill Nosbush.

A memorial fund has been established.
