Howard Danielson Funeral January 13

Funeral services for Howard Danielson were held Monday, Jan. 13 at the Riis Funeral Home with Pastor Olaf Holen officiating.

Music was furnished by Lester Moore who sand "In the Garden" and "You'll Never Walk Alone." Mrs. Lowell Accola was the organist. The text of the sermon was from the 23rd Psalm.

Pallbearers were Glen Nerness, James Brooks, Ira Benbow, Raymond Eveland, Calvin Ringgenberg and Myron Thompson.

Obituary

Howard Henry Danielson, son of Hiram and Amanda Danielson, was born Nov. 1, 1886 at Hendricks, Minn. He was a graduate of the University of Minnesota Farm School and was engaged in farming in Hendricks, Minn. and Kelley, Ia. He was veteran of World War I.

On Dec. 23 1944 he was united in marriage to Mrs. Margaret Toll of Kelley.

He died Jan. 10 after a lengthy illness at the Iowa Soldiers' Home in Marshalltown.

He leaves to mourn his passing his wife, Margaret; his stepchildren, Frayne Toll of Shawnee, Okla., Tom DeLong and Mrs. Mary Toresdahl, both of Kelley; sisters, Mrs. Elsie Twit of Slater, Mrs. Nellie Williams of Winfred, Mont., Mrs. Joyce Hofland of Esko, Minn., Mrs. Ione Raforth of Portland, Ore., and Mrs. Doris Neuse of Hendricks, Minn.; and brothers Ralph Danielson of Phoenix, Ariz. and John Danielson of Faribault, Minn.

Two brothers, Roy and Miner, and two sisters, Myra and Edna, preceded him in death.

He is also survived by two step-sisters, Mrs. Maude Pederson of Willmar, Minn. and Mrs. Ora Soderholm of Woodburn, Ore.; and three step-brothers, Perry Danielson of Portland, Ore., Reno Danielson of Minneapolis and Doyle Danielson in Hawaii.
