Ella Zenor (1850-1904)

From the Ames Intellegencer, Ames, Story County, Iowa, Thursday, July 7th, 1904.

Ella Zenor was born in Owen county, Indiana, Feb. 3, 1850. She moved to Iowa with the family in 1855. She was married to James M. Zenor March 19, 1867. By this union there were four children born, one having preceded the mother to its reward. Mrs. Zenor died June 30, 1904, aged 54 years, 4 months and 27 days. She lived at Royal, Clay county, Iowa. Her remains were shipped to Ontario where the funeral was conducted by the writer on Sunday, July 8. She was a member of the Evangelical church for many years.

Her sickness was of short duration, but she realized that her time on earth was short but her reward in heaven here. She leaves a husband, three children and one sister to mourn their loss which is her gain. The ends the life of one of earth's busy toilers.
