Obituary of Mrs. Ed Reinertson

Jennie Wilson Reinertson was born at Etne, Norway, April 22, 1861 and passed away on February 24, 1931, at an age of 69 years, 10 months and 2 days, after a lingering illness of two and a half years.

She came to America at the age of twelve years. Her marriage to Edward Reinertson took place on July 5, 1883. Since that time they have made Story county their home.

She was the mother of fourteen children. Three of them died in infancy. Those surviving her are Randall, Oscar, Lewis, Ben, Fred and Jennings. The daughters are Ida Houge, Jessie Sandness, Elida Fausch, Florence Hopkins and Nettie Fausch. She is also mourned by her life companion, Edward Reinertson. Also a sister, Mrs. Marie Egenes, Ventura, Iowa, and a brother, Lars Wilson of Inez, Texas. She also left thirty-three grandchildren.

Mrs. Reinertson will be remembered as kind, thoughtful woman, neighbor and friend. She was the mother of splendid family and to her the home had first consideration. She was an active worker in the church and in her death it has lost a warm friend and supporter.
