The Segner Funeral.

MAXWELL, April 5.--The funeral of the late Mr. E. G. Segner, who passed away at his home on Wednesday morning at three o'clock, was held at the Methodist church Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock, the services conducted by the pastor, Rev. A. M. Lott, assisted by Rev. B. White.

Mr. Segner's sickness, covering but a short period of not quite three days, came upon him suddenly without any warning and he never regained consciousness. He was born in Pennsylvania in 1851 and was married to Miss Nan Parks if Indianola in 1882. The family located at Maxwell about seven years ago where he opened a store. He was a successful business man, quiet and unassuming and a strictly home man. He leaves in his immediate family, his wife, one daughter and one son to mourn his loss, also a father, mother and sister, who are residents of California, besides other relatives and a host of loving friends.

The interment was made at Maxwell. The floral tributes were many and beautiful. The business houses were closed during the funeral.
