Mrs. Nils Larson Dies Late Tuesday at Home of Son
Mrs. Christina Ottesen Larson, [the] widow of the late Nils Larson, [pion]eer Nevada resident, died [Tues]day evening at the home [he]r son, Lew A. Larson, 1115 K [ave]nue, of complications incident to her advanced years.
Mrs. Larson, who for over half [a] century, had her home at 1736 [Fo]urth street, had been failing in [he]alth for some time and for a [fe]w years had made her home [wi]th her son.
Definite funeral arrangements [wi]ll be made only after word from the children now living at a [dis]tance.
The remains will be at the Lilly Funeral home until time the [fu]neral services, which will be [he]ld from the Nevada Seventhday Adventist church, of which she was a longtime member, with Elder A. L. Miller in charge. Burial will be in the Nevada cemetery by the side of her husband who passed away a number of years ago.
She is survived by her sons, Lew Larson of Nevada, Otis Larson of Detroit, Mich.; Anthony Larson of Nevada; Lester Larson of Chattanooga, Tenn.; Geo. Larson of Nevada, and Chester Larson of the U. S. Navy, stationed at Williamsburg, Va.; and two daughters, Mat. Will Childs of Hollywood, Calif., and Mrs. Harry Gray of Alhambra, Calif.
She also leaves a sister, Mrs. Helena Hanson of California.
