DEATHS

J. RAYMOND LOCK

J. Raymond Lock, 81, died Thursday, Sept. 6, 1984, at Story City Hospital. Death was due to cancer. He had been ill one year.

He was born at Greeley, Ill., Jan. 1, 1903 to Turner and Ella Lock. He was married to Myrtle Johnson Nov. 10, 1934. She survives.

Other survivors include four daughters, Eleanor Uhl of Helton Head Island, S.C., Betty McConnell of Ankeny, Mary Cook of Zearing and Janice Frohwein of Lake City, Minn., a sister, Ethelyn Stahlman of Nevada, a brother, William of Beloit, Wis., 14 grandchildren and seven great grand children.

Lock farmed north of Nevada for 60 years and moved to Roland in 1977.

Funeral services were held at Bergen Lutheran Church in Roland at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 8, `984 with Rev. Conrad Rolland officiating. Burial was in Roland Cemetery.

Visitation was held at Soderstrum-Larson Funeral Home Friday afternoon.

Lock was preceded in death by his parents ad six brothers and sisters.
