THE AMES TRIBUNE, Ames, Story County, Iowa, Tuesday, August 30, 2005.

Johnnie Lee Ball, 78, of rural Boone died Monday, Aug. 29, at Mary Greeley Medical Center in Ames. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m., Thursday, Sept. 1, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Boone. Burial will be in Linwood Park Cemetery in Boone. Visitation will be from 2 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 31, at Schroeder-Walter Funeral Home, Fifth & Story Streets in Boone with the family present from 6 to 8 p.m. Visitation will continue from 8:30 a.m. to the time of service Thursday at the church.

Memorials may be given to Trinity Lutheran Women's Missionary League in Johnnie's memory.

Schroeder-Walter Funeral Home, Fifth & Story Streets of Boone, is in charge of arrangements.
