Services Held For Everal H. Allie On Nov. 26 In Zearing

Obituary

Everal Howard Allie, the son of Fred and Grace Allie, was born at Jewell, Iowa, Sept. 8, 1920. He died Nov. 23, 1962 in the Story County Hospital in Nevada, where he had been a patient for the past four months. Previously, he was hospitalized in the Methodist Hospital in Des Moines where he head surgery for a cerebral hemorrhage which occurred June 22, 1962.

At an early age, he moved with his parents to the rural community near Napier and Boone where he also attended school. He became a member of the Methodist Church at Napier in his childhood. As a young man he moved to the Colo community where he married Ellen Vsetecka. To this union was born 2 sons, john and Mike who survive him.

He is also survived by his wife, Ellen, his father, Fred of Boone, his sister, Esther (Mrs. Edgar Miller) of Boone; and his two brothers, Orlan of Nevada and Arnold of Des Moines.

At the time of his death, he was foreman of the Colo Maintenance Shop of the State Highway Commission, having worked there the last 15 years. He was active in all community affairs, having served as Councilman for the town of Colo.

Everal was preceded in death by his mother, Grace and a twin brother, Ervin, who died in infancy.

Funeral Services

Funeral services for Everal Allie were held at Brouhard's Funeral Home in Zearing, Monday afternoon, Nov. 26, 1962 at 2 p. m. Rev. A. A. McAvoy officiated.

Mrs. N. h. Brinkman provided the organ music for the service.
