Clayton Myers Funeral Services Held In Colo

Funeral services were held for Clayton Myers Sunday, August 5, at 2 p. m. at the Evangelical Church in Colo with the Rev. E. A. Richardson officiating.

The music was furnished by Mrs. Marie Dickinson and the songs "God Will Take Care of You" and "Jesus Is Always There" were sung by Mrs. F. A. Richardson and Mrs. Wayne Handsaker.

The many floral pieces were cared for by Mrs. Clare Niland and Mrs. E---- Hull.

Casket bearers were Maude Dickinson, Ray Bell, John Niland, Jack O'Donnell, Raymond Wilson and Richard Wilson. Burial was in the Colo cemetery.

Life Sketch

Clayton Myers, the son of Chester and Minnie Myers was born May 13, 1920 at Colo and lived his entire life in the Colo community. On Nov. 16, 1942 he was united in marriage to Helen Hartwig and to this union one daughter, Susan Jeanne, was born in January 1946.

On Christmas eve 1960, he suffered a heart attack and since that time had been in failing health.

Myers is survived by his wife, Helen and daughter Susan, two sisters, Mrs. James Barrett, Colo and Mrs. Robert Paulson of Cedar Falls, two nephews and five nieces.

His father, mother and one sister preceded him in death.
