Former Nevadan Is Dead in California At The Age of 69

Lewis N. Larson died Saturday, April 21 in the Veteran's Hospital with heart trouble for some time.

Larson was born August 22, 1892 at Nevada, the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Andrew [aka Andreas] N. Larson. He was raised in Nevada, attended the schools here, and worked for the Northwestern Railroad as a signal man.

He served in World War I and was married in California.

Survivors include his wife, Laura, one daughter, Mrs. Grace Heath of Pacific Grove, Calif., two grandchildren, one sister, Mrs. Mary C. Smith of Des Moines and a nephew Donald L. Larson, also of Des Moines.

Funeral services were held Monday, April 23 in Oakland, Calif. and burial was in the Oakland cemetery.
