Charles Huntrods Dies Friday In A Des Moines Hosp.

Charles W. Huntrods, 45, of Collins died Friday at 9:45 p. m. at the Methodist Hospital in Des Moines where he had been a patient since Thursday.

Funeral services are tentatively set for Monday at the Collins Christian Church at 2:30 p. m. Burial will be in the Collins Evergreen cemetery. The body will lie in state at the Brouhard Funeral Home in Zearing until time of services.

Huntrods was born in Farrar Jan. 20, 1915, the son of T. E. Huntrods and the late T. E. Huntrods of Collins. He was a resident of the Collins community for a number of years.

Survivors include his wife, the former Ruth Atkinson and a son, Terry, 17 years of age and a daughter, Kathy, 11 years, all at home. Also his mother, Mrs. Gertrude Huntrods of Collins, a brother, Vernon of Colo and three sister, Mrs. Oliver (Maxine) Haley of Nevada, Mrs. Paul (Jessie) Heffelfinger of Mingo, Mrs. Donald (Wanda) Carlson of Colo, several nieces and nephews.
