Mrs. Lee Dadisman Funeral Services Are Held Recently

Marie Jasper Dadisman, daughter of William and Louisa Jasper, was born Feb. 9, 1880, in Warren County, Iowa. She died at the Gilmore Nursing Home, Nevada, Iowa, Jan. 4, 1962, at the age of 81 years and 11 months. Since suffering from a broken hip 14 months ago she had been physically handicapped and in failing health.

In her early life she united with the Church of the Brethren and had continued to be active in the support and work of her church until the time of her death. She was especially adept in handling children and children in turn, loved and respected her. She spent 14 years in the Douglas Park Mission of the Church of the Brethren, Chicago, Ill., where she headed the women's and children's work there. In 1927, she was united in marriage to Rev. Jacob A. Eby and served faithfully with him in several pastorates in Iowa and Texas. He preceded her in death in 1950. In March, 1952, she was united in marriage to Lee Dadisman.

She is survived by her husband, Lee, of Fernald, Iowa and one brother, Henry Jasper of Elkhart, Iowa. From her marriage to Mr. Eby she leaves two step-daughters, Mrs. Kathryn Miller of Elkhard, Iowa, and Mrs. Fern Miller of Marshalltown, Iowa, to step-sons, Kenneth Eby of Longdale, Calif. and Francis Eby of Tacoma, Wash.

Services were held in the Des Moines Valley Church of the Brethren at Elkhart, Iowa, Jan. 6. Rev. Harold Smith of Maxwell officiated, and was assisted by the Rev. W. Ethmer Erisman. Music was furnished by Dean Reynolds at the organ and V. W. Smith as soloist. Interment was in the Brethren Cemetery at Elkhart, Iowa.

Having lived a rich, full life of unselfish service and devotion she will be missed by her church and many friends the world over.
