OBITUARY - MILTON HALE
Nevada Journal

Milton Hale, 77, of Collins IA, died Thursday, Jan 5, 1989, at Mary Greeley Medican Center in Ames, IA. Cause of death was a stroke.

Hale was born on March 5, 1911, in Rhodes, IA to Aaron and Jessie Mann Hale. He married Thelma Evans on Aug. 10, 1933, in Garner, IA.

He was a retired farmer and also had done some TV repair. he had lived in the Collins area since his marriage in 1933.

He was a member of the United Methodist Church in Collins.

Survivors include: One daughter, Bonnie Horn, of Collins; two sisters, his twin, Mildred Mead of Minneapolis, MN, and Florence McDaniels of Melbourne, IA, and three grandchildren, Scott, Brent and Kameron horn of Collins.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Thelma, in 1983; his parents; one brother, Aaron Hale; one half-brother, Robert Johnson, and one half-sister, Ardel Baker.

Funeral services were Monday, Jan. 9, at the United Methodist Church in Collins with Rev. Donald Carlson officiating.

Interment was in Evergreen Cemetery at Collins.
