Mrs. Viola Wilbur Dies This Morning At Age of 93 Years
Mrs. Viola C. Wilbur, 93, 331 R avenue, died to day at 5:25 a. m. at her home. She had been ill for the past five weeks, recently returning to her home from the Story County Hospital.
Mrs. Wilbur was born Nov. 26, 1965 in Marion County, Iowa. She had been a resident of Nevada the past 13 years.
She had been married to William S. Wilbur who preceded her in death in 1912. She was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist church.
Funeral services will be held from the Nevada Seventh Day Adventist church Monday morning at 10:00 o'clock with Elder O. P. Jones officiating. Burial will be in the Blair cemetery, Blair, Neb.
The body will remain at the Ryan Funeral Home until Monday morning.
Survivors are two daughters, Miss Lulu Wilbur of Nevada and Mrs. Flossie May Wright of Seneca, Mo., and three sons, Charley B. Wilbur of Joplin, Mo., William Floyd Wilbur of Blair, Neb., and Walter J. Wilbur of Altamont, Mo. She also leaves two brothers, Thomas Bidwell [should be Tidball] of Des Moines and Fred Bidwell [should be Tidball] of California; two sisters, Mrs. Addie Burnett of Independence, Mo. and Mrs. Myrtle Beenblossom of Ainsworth, Iowa. One grandchild and four great grandchildren also survive her.
