Iva Rosen

Iva Rosen, 82, died Monday at her home in Duarte, Calif.

Rosen was born near Zearing to Eta and Martha (Miller) Moore. She graduated from the Zearing High School and attended the Zearing Christian Church before enlisting in the WACs and training at Ft. Des Moines.

She married Harold Rosen in 1919, and they ran Rosie's Lunch Restaurant near the Iowa Veteran's Home in Marshalltown for a number of years. Mrs. Rosen has lived in California for the past 35 years.

She is survived by a son, Terrance; a sister, Nellie Manning of Zearing; a brother, Lee Moore of Garden Grove, Calif., a grandson and 2 great-grandsons.

Rosen was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, 2 children, 4 brothers and 3 sisters.

Graveside service will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. in the Zearing Cemetery with Rev. Cliff Jones officiating.

Friends may call at the Brouhard Funeral Home in Zearing Friday evening.
