FUNERAL OF MRS. ALFRED [should be Alford]
Former Story County Woman Died In Nebraska.

Campridge, Oct. 24--Funeral services for Mrs. Adeline Alfred [should be Alford] was held Sunday afternoon from the home of her sister, Mrs. H. S. Myers [should be Meyers] in Maxwell. Mrs. Alfred [should be Alford] was the eldest daughter of M. D. Illingsworth [should be Illingworth], aa pioneer citizen of this place was born and reared to young womanhood on the Illingsworth farm one mile south of town. She was married to Derwin Alfred [should be Darwin Alford] and in later years lived at Superior, Neb. Two sons Wilbur and Albert are left to mourn the loss of a devoted mother. The husband met a tragic death while visiting relative here some ten years ago when a gun was accidentally discharged while hunting. Mr. Alfred was instantly killed. Of the brothers and sisters, Mrs. H. Myers [should be Meyers], Mrs. Jane Posegate and W. B. Illingsworth [should be Illingworth] were the only ones permitted to be present. Interment in Cambridge cemetery.
