THE MAXWELL TRIBUNE, Maxwell, Iowa, Thursday, August 23, 1894, page 5, column 4. DIED – ALLEN, Leonard Earl, infant son of Mr. and Mrs. S. M. Allen, died Tuesday morning, August 7, aged 11 months, 2 days. He was a birght little babe, and the loss will be greatly felt in the bereaved home. They have the sympathy of the community in their sore affliction. Funeral services from the Elwell Evangelical church, conducted by Rev. W. M. Force, assisted by Rev. Bodenham.”
