Last Rites For Daniel Christion

Funeral services for Daniel A. Christion, 16, were held Wednesday, April 15, at 9:00 a.m. at St. Patrick's Catholic church, the Rev. Vern F. Cross officiating. Burial was made in St. Patrick's cemetery.

Casket bearers were John Harkness, Max Hagen, Martin Ogden, Ronald Oxley, George Shimer and Roy Shimer.

The sophomore and junior classes of the Nevada high school attended the service in a body.

Obituary

Daniel A. Christion was born January 1, 1937, the son of Mrs. Frances Christion and the late David Christion of Nevada.

He had lived in Nevada most of his life and at the time of his death was a sophomore in the Nevada high school. He was also employed Friday night and Saturdays at Ames Wholesale Co. in Ames.

He is survived by his mother, two brothers, Douglas of Stockton, Calif., and Kenneth at home, two sisters, Mrs. Everett (Jeanne) Oxley and Mrs. John (Patricia) Sudduth of Ames. His father preceded him in death about sixteen years ago.
