THE AMES TRIBUNE, Ames, Story County, Iowa, Thursday, August 4, 2005.
Leo Forest Elliott, 90, of Cambridge died Wednesday, Aug. 3, at Story County Long Term Care in Nevada. Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 6, at Bacon Funeral Home in Nevada. Burial will be in White Oak Cemetery.
Leo Forest Elliott was born Feb. 15, 1915, near Cambridge, the son of Ira Ivin and Lottie (Scott) Elliott. He was a life-long farmer and a member of Cambridge Methodist Church.
He is survived by one brother, Jim (Margaret) Elliott of Ames; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Ivin and Frank; and four sisters, Sylvia Bump, Edna Rainey, Elva Schuler and Goldie Becker.
Visitation with the family will be from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Friday, Aug. 5, at Bacon Funeral Home in Nevada.
Memorials may be made to Cambridge United Methodist Church.
Bacon Funeral Home and Crematory in Nevada is in charge of arrangements.
