DEATHS

WALTER BURNS WILLIAMS

Walter Burns Williams, 72, died at Story County Long Term Care Facility, Story County Hospital on Tuesday, Oct. 4, 1983. He was born March 19, 1911 to Willy and Bertha Williams of Ellsworth, Iowa. he was a member of the Elim Lutheran Church, Randall, Iowa.

On Jan. 4, 1933 he married Gladys Selda Hill in Slater, Iowa. He was preceded in death by his wife, Gladys on April 1, 1975, one infant son, Dale Milton and on infant daughter, Ilene Beth, and two brothers, Ernest and Luther.

Survivors include his children Wahnita Lehman of Des Moines, Herschel Williams of Huxley, Denny Williams of Madrid, Judy Banks of Stanhope, Linda Banks of Nevada, Sandra Banks of Nevada, Romain Williams of Huxley, Max Williams of Huxley, Vickie Harmon of Slater and Terry Williams of Huxley. Two sisters Sylvia Tweed of Story City and Orella Hill of Ames, one sister-in-law, Erma Williams, 28 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.

Burial will be in the Bethlehem Cemetery on Friday, Oct. 7, 1983.
