Dale Skinner was Buried In Ashton Cemetery Near Mingo

The body of little Dale Skinner, 6, was laid to rest in the Ashton cemetery near Mingo, after funeral services held Wednesday afternoon at the family home near Shipley, with Rev. C. E. Lookingbill in charge.

Dale Parker Skinner, son of Arthur L. and Gladys E. Skinner was born May 18, 1930 at Mingo, Iowa and passed away March 14, 1937 at the Iowa sanitarium at Nevada, Iowa, age 6 years, 9 months and 26 days, he having been stricken three weeks ago with meningitis. Everything possible was done for him but all to no avail.

Dale had always been a very active happy boy and will long be remembered among his friends and little playmates by his cheerful smile.

He leaves besides his parents, a brother Howard, sister Dorothy and one grandmother Mrs. Elizabeth Parker and many other relatives and friends.
