Obituary

MRS. JEANIE M. HOPKINS

Funeral services for Mrs. Jeanie M. Hopkins, 28, of R.R. Radcliffe were held at Grace United Methodist Church in Story City, on Thursday afternoon, Oct. 4 at two o'clock Rev. Duane O'Tool was in charge, and Mrs. Dorrel Doolittle was organist. Ole Skaar Jr. sang.

Burial was at the Center Cemetery west of Story City. Pall bearers were Kenneth Matheason, Jerry Matheason, Gary Geisinger, Bruce Brown and George Loerger.

Jeanie M. Hopkins, daughter of Dorothy and Arthur Matheason of Story City, was born May 1, 1951 in Story City. On Nov. 24, 1967 she was united in marriage to Jimmy Hopkins. Two children were born to this marriage.

Mrs. Hopkins passed away Monday afternoon, Oct. 1, as the result of an auto accident northeast of Roland.

She is survived by her husband, Jimmy and two young children, daughter Tonja and a son, Johnny. Also her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Matheason of Story City; four sisters: Ann Lovig and Cheryl Matheason of Story City, Alice Matheason of Norfolk, Va., and Linda Dobson of Nevada, Iowa; and her grandmother, Mrs. Albert (Gladys) Matheason, R.R. 2, Story City.
