THE AMES TRIBUNE, Ames, Story County, Iowa, Wednesday, August 3, 2005.

Donna Williams, 47, of Boone, died of cancer Monday, Aug. 1, at Israel Family Hospice House in Ames. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Friday, Aug. 5, at Augustana Lutheran Church in Boone. Burial will be in Linwood Park Cemetery in Boone.

Donna Williams was born Feb. 10, 1958, in Story City to Robert and Patricia (Nagle) Sansgaard. She married Lyle Williams in Boone Jan. 13, 1973. For 10 years, she was a secretary for Ag Chem Equipment in Ames and had been a secretary at the Agronomy Department at Iowa State University. She enjoyed ceramics, flower gardening, golf, skiing and attending ISU football and basketball games.

She is survived by her husband, Lyle of Boone; a daughter, Jennifer (Wilf) Wilson of Boone; her mother, Patricia Sansgaard of Ames; two brothers, Edward Sansgaard of Pewaukee, Wis., and Dennis Sansgaard of Wisconsin; two sisters, Lorretta (Gary) Olson of Ames and Sandie (Wayne) Cameron of Ames; and two grandsons, Dresden and Quinten.

She is preceded in death by her father.

Friends may call from noon to 9 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 4, at Schroeder Memorial Chapel at Sixth & Marshall in Boone. The family will be present from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Visitation continues from 9:30 a.m. until time of service Friday at the church.

Memorials may be directed to the family to be used at its discretion.
