ANOTHER DIPTHERIA DEATH.
Frank Bricker is the Victim.

Frank Bricker, younger son of J. M. Bricker of this city, died at the family home very early this morning from a well defined case of diptheria. This is one of two cases that have developed in the past few days, resulting in a revival of what was a passing uneasiness over the danger from this disease. Frank was eleven years old and an attractive and promising boy. He was taken sick some time last week and his trouble was diagnosed as diptheria on Friday. He did no get on as well as could have been hoped and the fatal result apparently could not be avoided. Since the death of Mrs. Bricker, Mr. Bricker's sister, Miss Annette Bricker, has been in charge of the Bricker home, and she shares with Mr. Bricker, the elder son Joseph and other relatives the sorrow of the present loss. The burial was a private one and took place about daylight this morning, Rev. Leitch offering the prayer.

The other case of diptheria reported is that of Helen, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. E. C. Button. She has not been so sick, and she is now reported as doing finely. With respect to the diptheria in the city, it has been neither epidemic nor prevalent; but half a dozen isolate cases have appeared, and now two of them have been fatal. Precautions against the spread or recurrence of the disease are being renewed, and it is most certainly hoped that there will be no more cases.
