BELLE BUTT JAMES

Mrs. George James, near Story City, died at her home there Wednesday night. As a girl she was Bell Butt, the family home being where the E. F. McKim home now stands, and she grew up and attended the school in Nevada. Later she was employed in the "Highway" printing office, and afterwards for a number of years in this office and wherever she was known she was esteemed. Since her marriage she had lived near Story City and her friends in Nevada have seen her less frequently. They remember her well, however, and note her death with surprise and regret. She was about 56 years of age, and she leaves her husband and one son, nearly grown.
