Bertha Louise Monaghan, 90, of Greenville, SC died in Greenville.

She was born to Fred and Elizabeth (Lewis) Blickensderfer at Muscatine. She was educated in Story County schools and graduated from Colo High School. Later she graduated from Iowa Methodist Hospital School of Nursing and worked as an R.N. in hospitals in Iowa and Wisconsin. ON. Jan 21, 1930, she married Camillus C. Monaghan at Holy Cross Church in Milwaukee, Wis. She lived in Milwaukee most of her married life.

Survivors include four children, Camillus J. Monoghan of Oconomowac, Wis., and Patricia Hermann, Robert Monaghan and Elizabeth Albers, all of Greenville, S.C.; 12 grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, one sister, Myra Haas of Ames and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Camillus, in l1958; her parents; three sisters; and two brothers.

Mass of the Resurrection was held Feb. 20 at St.Sebastian's Catholic Church in Milwaukee, Wis., with burial at Holy Cross Cemetery, Milwaukee.
