Albert Haas

Albert G. Haas, 75, 1609 Clark Ave, died Friday, Oct 9, at Mary Greeley Hospital. Services will be 1:30 p m Monday, Oct 12, from the Stevens Memorial Chapel with the Rev John Moore, First United Methodist Church, officiating. Burial will be in Story Memorial Gardens.

Mr. Haas was born Sept 21, 1906, at Odell, Ill. to George and Mary (Gubi) Haas. On June 8 1934, he as married to Myra Blickensderfer at Colo. He was in the hardware business in Colo for a number of years and worked for Hunziker and Furnman until retirement.

Survivors include his wife, Myra, a son John, 2004 Clark Ave, four daughters, Mary Crouse, Hillsdale Trailer Court, Rita Teig, San Jose, Calif, Beth Ozias, Ellis Ville, Mo., and Myrna Jensen, Cedar Falls, two sisters, Irene Murray, Chicago, Ill, and Violet Day, Saranac, Mich, and seven grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

A memorial fund has been established and gifts may be sent to the home.

Visitation at Stevens Memorial Chapel will be 3-9 p m Sunday with the family receiving friends 3-6 p m.
