THE AMES TRIBUNE, Ames, Story County, Iowa, Monday, July 25, 2005.
Pauline Margaret Ringgenberg, 83, of Huxley, died Saturday, July 23, at Madrid Nursing Home. Services will be at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, July 27, at Bethany Lutheran Church in Kelley with Rev. Carla Werre officiating. Burial will follow at Bethany Church Cemetery.
Pauline Margaret Ringgenberg was born August 30, 1921, in White Oak to Jacob and Elizabeth (Hemmingson) Lee. Pauline was a lifetime resident of the Kelley area. She moved from southwest Kelley to Huxley after retirement in 1981.
Pauline married Calvin (Mike) Ringgenberg on February 14, 1942. She was a homemaker and a member of Bethany Lutheran Church in Kelley, Bethany Lutheran Church Women and Tuesday Club. Pauline enjoyed reading, crafts, jigsaw puzzles, word searches and writing poetry.
She is survived by one daughter, Nancy (Tom) Long of Gilbert; three sons, Leonard (Helen) Ringgenberg of Des Moines, Philip (Cyndi) Ringgenberg of Kelley, and Kevin (Carleen) Ringgenberg of Sioux City; 10 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Calvin, in 1999; one sister, Helen Olson; and one brother, John Lee.
Visitation will be from 6:30 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, July 26, at Bethany Lutheran Church in Kelley.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Bethany Lutheran Church in Kelley.
