FORMER NEVADA MAN DIES IN CAL.

Relatives in this city have learned of the death of Homer Smay at his late home in Oakland, California. No particulars have been received but the news was not unexpected as Mr. Smay has been in failing health for some time and had been confined to his bed most of the time for past six months. He was well known in this city having lived here as a boy and young man and was married here to Miss Madge Smith, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W. K. Smith. He was employed as brakeman on the Northwestern R. R. for a number of years with his headquarters at Boone and later at Clinton but about a dozen years ago he and his wife moved to California where they made their home until his death. He is survive by his wife an his brother E. E. Smay of this city.
