Ole Lee Died Tuesday Night at Cambridge

Special to the Journal:
Cambridge, Feb. 22--Ole Lee, well known retired farmer who would have been 86 years of age next month, died at his home here Tuesday evening at 8:30, after a serious illness.

Announced that the funeral services will be at the Lutheran church at Cambridge Friday afternoon at 2:00 in charge of his former pastor Rev. Peter Buland. Burial will be in the Cambridge cemetery.

Mr. Lee, a native of Norway, Europe, came to this company as a young man; worked for a time as a carpenter, later settled on a farm in Polk county just south of here and about five years ago retired and has since lived in Cambridge.

He leaves his wife, a son Thomas and daughters Mrs. Clarence Lewis, Mrs. Martin Lewis, Mrs. Tilden Apland, Mrs. Bauge and Mrs. Sweeney and an adopted daughter, Miss Ethel Birkestrand, who had been raised in the home.

Three children are deceased, they being Ruben Lee, Clarence Lee an Mrs. Mary Ann Lewis.
